DOMINOES GAME
Vocabulary
Nouns: watching TV, turtle, rabbit,
theatre, cinema,hourglass,alarm clock, cat, lion, woman, girl, candle, light bulb,
a glass of wine, a mug of beer, shopping bag, suitcase, credit cards, cheque,
fat man , a thin man, fishing, gardening, elephant, mouse, computer, TV, hamburger
, apple, playing cards, chess, ET, Titanic, sunny day, snowman, airplane,
balloon, drum, violin, soccer, rugby, a building, a house.
1. Review
the comparative adjectives using the nouns given and write them on the board
giving an example: the building is higher than a house etc.
2. Look
up in the dictionary the possible new vocabulary about adjectives
3. Divide
the class into groups of four and give them the dominoes game
PLAYING THE GAME
The
game it is played in groups of four. Each Player has five dominoes, the game
starts when one dominoes is face up and players discard or put their dominoes
connecting the figures or pictures. The player who has the correct domino has
to make a comparison between figures that he or she has just connected .The
first player who discard all of his or her dominoes wins the game.
